workers2The reason there hasn’t been any updates for a couple of days is not because we haven’t done anything. Completely the opposite. We’ve been hard at it and I have simply been to tired at the end of the day to get on to the computer.
The biggest news is that the work on the extra shower/toilet block has started.

boonbanana2Otherwise it has been still more site clearance. Somboon has taken on the job of clearing the banana trees. We won’t loose them all, but Boon wants to locate the play area there, so some of them have to go.
Its great seeing him pitch in so hard, I often joke with him about his ‘laziness’. Well, he’s certainly shut me up for the last 10 days, so proud of him.
That said, if there is anyone looking in who happens to be in the area and fancies helping out, any extra hands would be welcome.
boonduckThe wildlife experience has continued with more scorpions, ants and visit by a neighbours duckling.

The poor thing was running around desperately calling for its Mother.

So in the end boon managed to get hold of it and went asking around the neighbours to locate its home.

toilet2The builders arrived early yesterday and knocked down the old outside toilet and have laid out the plot for the new block.

We look forward to seeing their progress after we finish at school today.
