It is rideable now but with a very rough shingle surface.
We would like very much to complete the road with either concrete or possibly sand and stonedust mix.
We estimate the full cost [...]

It was long before our new children showed their willingness to pitch in. I was very happy to return home from a shopping trip one day last week to see the new kids helping Wasana in the garden.

It has been good to see that the T.V culture has not reached the point where some paper, crayons, paints or plastercine fails to grab the kids imaginations.
Certainly, with the children we have at the moment, art seems to be very popular. You will find a dedicated album at our photobucket account with examples of [...]

Recently our team here at Stratton House was boosted by the arrival of Somboons Father, Boonma, who has been a great help during his stay.
Up early every morning he has been hard at work tidying up all the rough edges that remained around the grounds.
He has also started to utilise the remaining soil patches for [...]

We are happy to announce that we have now acquired a Mazda Diesel Pick-up Truck that will be fitted out to carry passengers in the back at the end of this month.
It was too good a deal to miss and the hope is that we can recoup the money by offering advertising on the sides [...]

Two weeks on Sunday should see the proper work of The Stratton ABC Foundation and Stratton House Childrens Home begin. So now we’re making a real push to get those bigger jobs finished.
I’m still shifting gravel every morning but another week should see that finished.
We have started painting the kitchen/dining area.
Heathers fence looks better everyday.
And [...]

Things are moving forward a pace as the playground fence starts to take shape and we await our first scheduled placements arrival around November 1.
Today we had a show of local support for the project when a work crew came to fit our wall fans stating that they simply wanted feeding and a little towards petrol [...]

Just previous to the arrival of our Australian visitors we hadquite an eventful time when getting the satellite TV fitted up at the home.
After securing the satellite dish, the technician informed us that our big mango tree was blocking the signal and further pruning was required.
Boon lept into action with the bow saw and very [...]

Oh for a few years fitness back.
Its been more hard work over the last week, which, in this heat , continues to leave me pretty drained at the end of the day.
But, bit by bit the grounds are starting to look much tidier.
And the living quarters have also progressed.
My little house is now sorted, new [...]

So the first major works are finished with the completion of the new shower toilet block.
All that remains for that is a paint job when all the walls are properly dried out.
The builders also pruned a couple more of the trees for us.
Have to say they went a bit further with the large Mango tree [...]
