May

May is 11 years old and came to us , on 27th December,2009, from a remote  Hill Tribe village close to Tung Chang in Nan Province.

Like all the other children from this area she is very good natured , a little shy, but has immediately become ‘big sister’ to the younger girls, and has been a great help in ensuring that the younger May adjusted well to suddenly having to share the attention of her sibling ,Yong.

Her favourite subjects at school are Maths and Thai language and she wants to be a Doctor later in life.

update:

During her time here May has lost much of her initial shyness. The recent increase in activities here at Stratton House , such as art sessions and dance classes has helped a lot with her overall confidence.

May has done very well at school and will be joining Gu and Tai at the senior school in May this year.
