Re-Cycle Project
In our continued efforts to find a regular source of funding to cover our basic running costs and in line with caring not only for the children here at Stratton House but for the future of all children, we have now started working on a major Re-cycling Project.
The logo for this project was designed and drawn by 14 year old Tai.
We are in the early stages of the Project, trying our best to advertise our offer of collecting re-cyclables from people who wish to “donate” to the Project.
These re-cyclable items will then be cashed in at our local re-cycle outlet as a source of funds for the Foundations work.
Check in to this page for regular updates on how things are going.
So far, after a mention in City Life Magazine, we have had a chance to set up collections from American Pacific International School (Kindergarten) , in Hang Dong Rd. The Principal there, Khun Ladda, is most enthusiastic and has advertised our project in their own newsletter. She is currently in talks with the main American Pacific International School to see if they will join in too.
In the City we were contacted by another keen participant, Faye Mitchell, who is currently organising Re-cycling at Punna Residence in Nimmanheimen Rd. We hope to start collections from here within the next week or two.
With responses from one or two individuals and a favourable response from some business outlets in Sarapee, we feel that the Project has got off to a good start.
We are also waiting on a response from a gated Moobahn, not too far from us, who planned to encourage their residents to take part.
