So far we are happy with the progress of our Aims and Objectives but to realise them in full can only be done with your help.

Sitting, contemplating the most consistent of tasks ; sourcing funds to continue and develop our work to help many more children; it struck me that if each of my Facebook friends could spare just 10 pounds,($16.15),(15.29 AUD),(494 Thai Baht) a month then our basic running costs would be covered with some left over for further developing and improving our services.

Alternatively, with our website now averaging 30 hits a day, if each person viewing the site were to donate just 70 pence,($1.07),(1.07AUD), (33.5 Thai Baht), every time they visited then this would have the same effect.

Future plans include the building of a purpose built facility; training all staff in counseling and child psychology to ensure best care for children separated from their families; outreach work to offer support to rural communities “onsite”; weekend educational/craft activities open to children within our local catchment area. We have the determination and commitment to work to make all of this reality; what we need is your support.

Go on….you know you want to…hit that donate button now!

Fridays mean traditional costume at May and Yongs school.

This was the first time they had worn them and May had a bit of a struggle getting hers on properly but we got there in the end.

You can see why some poorer families struggle with sending their children to school as there are quite a few added costs, which may seem little to you and me, but can mean the difference between getting an education and not, here in the rural communities.

Some schools have 3 or more different uniforms and not all the costs are covered by government.

Still I do like how an effort is made to maintain the traditional culture, and don’t the girls look beautiful in them.
